Ohio Past Chiefs Traveling Council #89 was established as a service council with membership derived from Past Chiefs of Knight Masons Councils in Ohio established under Irish Constitution.  The council meets at liberty and on call except for the annual meeting in Wooster.  The council is available to assist other Ohio councils with proper procedures for installation of officers and degree work and other assistance as requested.  Council #89 was the last council to be established in Ohio under Irish Constitution.

After the passing of our Provincial Grand Superintendent, VSK/RESK Archer B. Purvis in 2015, the members voted to change the name to Archer B. Purvis Ohio Past Chiefs Traveling Council #89.  Archer was instrumental in establishing several new Knight Masons Councils in Ohio under Irish Constitution.
